for the July 17, 2012 Herbal Class
2 teaspoons Borax
4 Tablespoons of White Vinegar
4 Cups Hot Water
1 to 2 Bay Leaves
1/2 teaspoons Lavender Oil
1/4 teaspoons Tea Tree Oil
1/4 teaspoons Lemon Oil
1/4 teaspoon Clove Oil
1/4 teaspoon Coriander Oil
1. Dissolve the
Borax in the Hot Water and add the Bay Leaves.
2. Once the Borax is dissolved and the water is warm add the rest of the ingredients and let cool.
3. Place in a spray bottle and use on cutting boards, kitchen counters, sinks, stove. Etc…
the Summer, you can steep some pennyroyal mint dry herb in the hot water to help
keep ants from invading your kitchen counters
Nettle Iced Tea
Teaspoons black tea (4 tea bags of your choice)
1 Tablespoon Lemon Balm and or Mint (2 tea bags each) (optional)
1/4 cups Nettle (4 tea bags)
2 Quarts of Hot water (8 Cups)
Sweeten to taste
Add a fruit tea for example: Raspberry, Cherry, or Peach
Add a Mint tea
Add Green Tea or Green Tea and Mint (a great combination)
Add unsweetened Kool-Aid for example: Lemon Ice, Black Cherry, or Raspberry etc.
all the ingredients into a 2 Quart glass container and pour the hot water over.
Let steep 15 minutes and remove the tea bags or strain the contents. Let cool. Drink cold.
8 oz of your
favorite Lotion or cream
Stir in 5 to 10 drops Essential Oils. The total amount of essential oils is 10 drops. Choose from the list below:
Oregano Oil, Citronella Oil, Clove Oil, Rose Geranium oil (Pelargonium
graveolens), Cedarwood Oil, or Tea Tree Oil.
To prevent any unexpected allergic reactions, you should perform a skin patch test to check for any allergic reactions.
